This funding will help me purchase the kiln I need to improve the quality of my work, as well as make it easier for me to sustain myself on my work while still keeping costs reasonable and accessible to normal people. I have been lucky enough to receive ARAC grants before, and have always completed my projects and submitted reports in a timely manner. I also have the extra drive to complete this project quickly because without so many casting failures my productivity will be vastly improved.I will know I have been successful if I see less full or partial casting failures.
I was able to purchase the kiln I was hoping to purchase, and have been using it to lost wax cast. It has dealt with many of the technical issues and my casts have improved.
