Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

A diverse audience of Minnesotans will learn and grow by experiencing Asian Indian art and culture through an ancient and expressive form of dance (Kathak). KDT will: Produce cross-cultural dance programming, outreach and residencies (virtual and/or live), Survey participants to understand their experiences, and Document feedback in post-show discussions, online, through email, website and social media 2: KDT will increase its capacity to bridge diverse cultures and enhance the Minnesota community through the Kathak arts of dance, music, poetry and storytelling. KDT will:* Redesign our website and make it more user-friendly for virtual performances/classes * Bring our studio ventilatioir-filtering system up to post-Covid standards* Train next generation of professional Kathak dancers and choreographers.

Measurable Outcome(s)

In addition to our virtual showcase series and continued hybrid classes, we created a successful pandemic-era live show that brought in new audiences. We collected comments/messages about our virtual showcases, looked at quantitative (student numbers) and qualitative (survey) responses to our hybrid classes, and distributed a post-show survey for our pandemic-era show 'Shaamya - Of Equality.'. 2: Our improved air-filtering system in our studio and revitalized tech have enabled us to resume in-person teaching and 100% hybrid learning options. The above-mentioned technologies have both helped us increase our capacity to reach more students. These improvements have helped us recognize further changes to make as we develop goals for a website redesign.
