As a result of this program, the city of Halstad will enjoy a new park with a sculpture that will increase visitors to our town and teach them the history of agriculture Evaluation will occur through visitor surveys regarding the visual look of the sculpture and their level of new knowledge gained after visiting Our businesses will be asked to compare sale and foot traffic before and after the sculpture is complete
Formal Survey's have not yet been collected. Business Owners estimate daily stops to the Sugar Beet Scuplture with an average of 2 people per car. The amount of Sales is also not known as not everyone says they are in town for the sculpture. However, business owners have noticed an increase in out of town sales since the Sculpture was completed.
