Fred Yiran African Arts Day 2020 celebrates African arts and culture through the story of the late artist Fred Yiran. His contributions to the Minnesota arts community inspired the design of this multidisciplinary one-day arts festival of Granite City Day

This event will promote social and intercultural cohesion through artistic expression and interaction at a free public event, including performances for the general public of African dance, drumming, and storytelling and teacher workshops. Photograph/video event to document the diversity. Count number of people who engage with event via Facebook. Chronicle event using photos, videos, and interviews. Use Survey Monkey to evaluate teamwork and event.
