After reviewing the conference components and speaker profiles, my goal for the weekend is to gain pragmatic skills to make my writing sustainable. I have completed about a third of the Work of Arts Toolkit workbook on my own. I realize the conference presenters are not necessarily using the workbook, but I will have it with me and will use it as a framework for my own notetaking. My goal is to follow through on at least three of the areas that are most pertinent to me at this time. [1] Marketing, [2] Social Media Basics, [3] Business Plan Essentials. I will sign up for a session with Pat Campanaro, Small Business Development Center Director. By April 30, 2020 I will use the workbook to complete the exercises in the three areas referenced above. I will summarize my plan of action in the grant report.
