Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Not only will this project help sustain myself personally as an artist, but it will also support and uplift two female videographer artists in our state. To me, it is a critical time to continue to connect with other artists, even at a distance. In collaborating with Lauren and Zoe, we are able to uplift each other's art (even if that means shooting at a safe distance and adhering to social guidelines). We must not stop creating and collaborating during this time. So, although my goal for this project is to have a professional quality music video that aligns with the mood of my forthcoming record, I also have the goal of collaborating with and supporting other women artists in the Minnesota arts community during this time of uncertainty. This funding will allow for a video that will help support my career as a working artist and will also support the work of two other female artists by compensating them fairly for their craft. I feel certain that I will complete this project because I will be working with highly trained professionals who are dependable and well versed in this field. They will be able to help bring my vision to fruition. Because this project aligns with another fully completed project that was supported by ARAC (the recorded album), there are many factors resting on the execution of this project that are dependent upon each other. The record that this video will coincide with is already recorded and completed and visual support for this work will be crucial. This video project will be the catalyst for the online PR push to attract new listeners and reach a larger audience. Furthermore, regardless of the state of Covid-19, this video can be created using proper social distancing techniques and minimal contact. There is no one else involved besides myself and Lauren and Zoe, and no direct contact is required to complete this collaboration, which gives me full confidence in project execution. I will know I've been successful in reaching my goals if I have a professional quality music video that aligns with the mood and themes of my music. This video will be released in support of my new record and will help promote my work online. I will measure the effectiveness of this goal by noting engagement with listeners and extending my reach to new listeners and viewers. I know I will have reached my goal of collaborating with other female artists in the state if I complete this video with the production, filming, and editing expertise of Lauren Josephine and Zoe Prinds-Flash and we are able to release this video with confidence and pride in our vision. I will measure this goal by assessing the effectiveness with which we were able to collaborate together to bring this work to fruition.

Measurable Outcome(s)

My goal for this project was to have a professional quality music video that aligns with the mood of my forthcoming record while also collaborating with and supporting other women artists in the Minnesota arts community during this time of uncertainty. This funding allowed for the creation of a video that will help support my career as a working artist and will also support the work of two other female artists by compensating them fairly for their craft. This goal was absolutely achieved, and bringing this video to fruition with Zoe and Lauren went as planned and I have a professional quality music video on deck to release when this record rolls out. I'm looking forward to having this video as a tool to draw in an audience when launching my new record, as it captures the tone and mood of the record in visual form.
