Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

We are down to less than $1,000.00 in savings. This funding helps insure our viability, if not our very existence, by providing funds to pay for near-term expenses plus operational basics, i.e., liability insurance, basic office needs, internet and an annual bank fee. These funds also provide start-up capital to ignite our next project. - It provides a bit of a tangible reward for dedicated volunteers, in and of itself a noble, dignified exchange. - This reward is incentive, especially for the Play Director, Choreographer and Music Director, to accept the positions to begin with and enhance the possibility of future involvement. / Personally speaking, having been or currently an Artistic Director, Producer, Fundraiser, Production Coordinator, Technical Coordinator, Lighting Designer, Choreographer and Play Director, it's a "must" to be rewarded in some way. - Sustaining the arts and artists requires a "yes" by volunteers. This program helps motivate that "yes". To see LSCT be granted $2,000.00 for stipends and reimbursements for leadership energies to-date with "Junie B. Jones The Musical". We were just two days out from performing when performances and earned income were forceably cancelled. Having another opportunity to reschedule and perform the show or another show; seeing the play or a play performed and all the elements listed above executed to deliver the art and cause a positive audience artistic experience.

Measurable Outcome(s)

- The funding insured our ability to pay off final bills and compensate leaders we promised we would compensate. We were not forced to make a choice regarding which bills would get paid and which wouldn't - a viability issue. The leaders sustained out-of-pocket expenses. It was only just we reimburse them. - The funds used for stipends were a "reward" to volunteers who dedicated countless hours to prepare us for performance. - A goal we did not meet was ultimately presenting the show. We had rescheduled a second time to September 19 opening, but COVID mandated restrictions and schedule changes of cast members to "hang on" that long while juggling persona lives and work was "too much". We had to finally cancel the whole production on July 1, 2020. - The funds allowed us to maintain some savings which will be part of star-up capital for our next, yest undefined, project.
