Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

By using new and found or used materials to create functional items I feel I am informing the public of the possiblities of repurposed materials. By making instruments it really elevates the value of repurposed materials. I carry 2-3 different instruments with me per day and never fail to receive curious and positive responses. People in m y community know me as the "one of a kind instrument guy" and comment when I don't have an instrument with me. I am showing people the possibilities. I am also informing the public of the potential and value of disabled people.I would like to be able to purchase new tools to help refine my work. Getting upgraded tools would also enable me to refine my instruments and elevate my skills I would also like to heat my workshop so as to be able to create year round. I hope to be able to expand my advertising to increase my recognition as a unique and one of a kind instrument maker. My goal is to create at least ten new and unique instruments for a showcase where musician friends will bring my creations to life. My goal is to make more interesting and unique instruments and other useful items. In the future I would like to find more avenues to share my work with the world. I would like to expand into different venues and styles of art; continuing to use unusual items and repurposing them to be a useful household item. I have received a grant from ARAC and followed through with all of the requirements. I have the support of many musician friends as well as people that purchase my creations. My Access North worker and ARAC employees assist in making sure I complete all necessary parts of this grant. I have a very strong work ethic. When I have increased my knowledge of instrument making from hobby to skill with better tools. When my workspace is heated and I can create all year round - more than doubling my ability to create. When I receive feedback and approval from my mentor, local musicians, and Facebook about the instruments throughout the process. When I make at least ten new and unique instruments and they are showcased at Carmody's Irish Pub where my friends will bring these instruments to life. Increase my Facebook traffic, sell my creations, increased recognition on the street and through news stories. When I show the public the variety of instruments that can be produced from re-purposed materials and receive positive feedback. When I make useful items beyond instruments.
