Pillsbury House Theatre presents Illuminating Legacies to engage four African American artists to work with community to create public art that shines a light on the rich, but hidden, African American history of the area, connecting those who came before with those here now.

ILLUMINATING LEGACIES expands and enriches PH+T's connection to its neighborhood and to three target groups of community stakeholders. Attendance counts and demographics, in-event and intercept surveys, partner organization feedback, and artist post-project reflections will be used to measure who was engaged and how relationships with target audiences were expanded and enriched.
