The Cowles Center will work with four Walker Methodist senior living facilities to host a MovementWise experience, which includes attending one matinee at the Center, eight weeks of workshops at each site, and a culminating event at Cowles Center.

The Cowles Center will increase capacity to reach aging adults. We will use surveys, TA assessments, photo/video documentation, in-person evaluation and number of participants to evaluate activity completion, effectiveness of residencies, and impact on community and their relationship to dance. 2: Program participants will gain an appreciation of dance and have an increased sense of community among residents and/or a decrease in social isolation. The Cowles Center increased capacity to reach aging adults. We counted number of participants. 2: Program participants gained an appreciation of dance and increased their sense of community among residents and decreased social isolation. Every session left time at the end for group discussion and feedback from the participants; monthly feedback reflections was provided from TAs; and continuous emails and conversations with onsite staff further informed MovementWise.
