Itasca Life Options will engage with local sculptor Aaron Squadroni and the MacRostie Art Center to work with artists with disabilities to collaboratively create and place a piece of public art.

ACHF Arts Access
Participating artists with disabilities will demonstrate knowledge and mastery of an art technique learned during the project. Itasca Life Options (ILO) and Mentor Artist will track techniques presented and taught, follow the progress of each artist in their stage of learning, and document the final result/level of mastery at the end of the project. 2: The public awareness of art by artists with disabilities in Minnesota will increase. Itasca Life Options (ILO) and Mentor Artist will document the ongoing project through a social media site and measure public awareness by tracking digital interactions.
Participating artists with disabilities demonstrated knowledge and mastery of art techniques learned during the project. The Mentor Artist tracked techniques involved in the project and worked with ILO staff to respond to each participant's stage of learning and review progress toward mastery of the skill. 2: Public awareness of art by artists with disabilities in Minnesota increased. Itasca Life Options, Mentor Artist, and partner organization MacRostie Art Center observed and documented public interactions with the project.
