Interact will present Here. Them. Now., a production that uses theatrical movement, music, and interactively staged works of visual art to explore desire, gender identity, sexuality, and human connections as experienced by Interact's company of artists with disabilities.

greater Minnesota audiences experience deeper empathy and appreciation for the talents and complex humanity of artists with disabilities. We will assess appreciation and shifts in understanding via short surveys and notes taken a post-show artist/audience conversations and creativity workshops. We will record attendance, and interview venue hosts to assess satisfaction.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Audiences of people with and without disabilities connected with our work, experiencing validation and encouragement in their own lives. We engaged participants in lively post-show conversation, tracked attendance, and invited them to stay in touch with questions or comments via email. 2: Communities expressed appreciation for the talents of Interact artists with disabilities, and look forward to increasing engagement post-Covid. We engaged participants in post-show conversation, encouraged them to stay in touch via email and describe changes in perception, and plans to engage in more experiences post-Covid.
