Project Details

The Fine Arts Series at the College of Saint Benedict will provide at risk families the opportunity to attend two performances together by working in partnership with the Roosevelt Education Center.

REC families will have a new experience of attending a professional arts event, creating shared memories and strengthening social/emotional connection. Pre and post-performance surveys, qualitative surveys, post-project debriefings with our community partner, analysis of box office data.

REC families shared professional arts event and strengthened social connection and regional youth experienced quality arts experience during pandemic. Pre and post-emotional self-assessment for youth, post-show survey for families, qualitative feedback from partner following Golden Dragon engagement and participation and engagement data following the Five Days with Step Afrika virtual field trip.
