Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

“Regional residents experience increased access to the arts via a reduction in geographic, cultural and/or physical barriers.” Those area residents who attend the concerts will be satisfied that they experienced an international music act regardless of their physical limitations or where they live as it was within close proximity to where they live. “Regional residents gain awareness and appreciation for a variety of artistic disciplines and mediums.” Concert attendees will now be aware of and appreciate a style of music they don’t hear on a daily basis. “Regional residents build connections to their own and others’ cultural heritage through regional arts and cultural events and/or activities.” Those area residents who attend the concerts will learn about the cultural heritage of the French Quebec through the performer’s introduction of each song. The WAC board of directors and volunteers will do exit interviews of the audience at both performances. We will focus on a representative sample versus a large sample. Our sample will be based on different age groups, those with disabilities, and other minorities. We will ask those attendees three questions, one for each of the three outcomes chosen. We will focus on a representative sample versus a large sample.
