As a result of this program, school aged children, senior citizens, and members of the community will build positive relationships based on interactions with musical performances. Evaluation will occur through follow-up meetings and questionnaire with students, feedback from venues, and through meetings with the founder of the program.
After completing our kick off performance for the Harmony Bridge program, the students were surveyed and asked to provide reflective statements and feedback. The overall results pointed towards the experience being positive, with room for improvement as we continue our journey through this program. The majority of students felt they had a positive impact on their audience, most felt a little underprepared.
