TaikoArts Midwest will produce HERbeat: Women in Taiko ALL STARS, an artist incubation residency and concert designed to be a catalyst for gender equity, creating tangible change in taiko communities locally and nationally.

HERbeat activities will introduce Minnesotans to taiko art and traditions, highlighting the overlooked contributions of women. Audience surveys will measure first time taiko experiences and quality of experience feedback. 2: Local taiko musicians will gain skills and inspiration, building meaningful relationships with leading women taiko masters. Local musicians will provide one on one feedback regarding their experience in participating and supporting HERbeat activities and artists.
