The DIAL Group presents the Youth Empowerment Studios: Digital Media Arts and Youth Leadership program, which provides low income youths of color access to a free high quality, after-school media arts program coupled with service learning art projects.

Youth Empowerment Studios will increase media arts skills and media literacy in low-income youths of color. We will use two best-practice evaluation methods to evaluate this outcome: Process Evaluation to monitor program activities, and Outcome Evaluation to measure the impact of the projects. 2: Youth Empowerment Studios participants will use their media arts skills to collaborate on a service-learning project regarding a topic of concern to t. The DIAL will use two evaluation methods to evaluate this outcome: Summative Evaluation to assess overall effectiveness and achievements, and Outcome Evaluation to measure the impact of the service-learning projects.
Youth Empowerment Studios will increase media arts skills and media literacy in low-income youths of color.
