Away Runakuna dancers will learn, practice, and perform a new Ecuadorian traditional dance and presentation focused on the celebration of San Pedro de Cayambe.

ACHF Cultural Heritage
Participants will learn and perform the celebration of San Pedro De Cayambe through a choreographed dance. Having a reflection session with the group after completing the choreographed dance. Participants will write their experience and learning outcomes to share with the group. 2: Participants will gain knowledge about the celebration of San Pedro De Cayambe through an educational workshop. Workshop participants take a survey about San Pedro de Cayambe. A survey will be given to participants to provide feedback about the knowledge they learned about the tradition and how they can use this knowledge to preserve the Ecuadorian Heritage.
Participants learned and performed the celebration of San Pedro De Cayambe through a choreographed dance. The method used was producing a recorded video of the dance project. The dancers wore traditional attires of Cayambe bringing more authentic view of the celebration. 2: Participants gained knowledged about the celebration of San Pedro De Cayambe through an informational workshop. The method used was through a powerpoint presentation showing in-depth context and images of the celebration within Ecuadorian folkloric arts. A survey was conducted for members to share how much they learned from the workshop with the group.
