We will stage our original play, providing paying jobs and learning opportunities for seven actors and four crew. We will gain a deeper understanding of the process of producing a play in Saint Cloud, from writing the script to striking the set. The measure of our success will be the quality of the show we are able to produce. We will analyze box office data and surveys, together with experiential data gathered during the process, to decide how to proceed with future creative ventures.
In the end, we put on a really good show! Our attendance was high. We sold out at least one performance, and of the 500 available seats for our four performances, about 425 seats were sold. We also achieved the highest rating of all the shows in PLAYlabs' season, based on Great Theatre's own internal customer survey data.
