Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The goal is for 700-800 people attend a concert performed by approximately 125 singers and instrumentalists. The overall objective is to have audience and performers report (via surveys) they have a renewed understanding and appreciation for this important musical genre, the people who have influenced its growth and the African-American culture from which it comes. The success will be determined by number of tickets sold, the number of tickets sold to entirely new audience members, and the number of singers participating from each group. In addition, audience and performer participation surveys will provide feedback.
