Teaching Artist Brian Malloy will collaborate with Quatrefoil Library to offer creative writing classes to gay seniors and other interested persons focused on the early years of the AIDS pandemic.

ACHF Arts Education
Program participants will develop skills and techniques to create original works of poetry, creative nonfiction, and fiction. Seniors report changes in knowledge and skills through pre- and post-class surveys. Teaching artist will evaluate participation and increased skills through observation and reviewing student works. 2: Program participants will reduce isolation by learning and working together in weekly classes and presenting work at a public reading. Seniors self-report whether the class has helped reduce social isolation as part of class evaluation.
