We will recruit 35-45 ethnically diverse African artists who will participate in Little Africa Festival. Observation and social media will show that around 1200 people attended and audience surveys will show that 50% of respondents have learned something new about Little Africa and that 90% will plan to return. We will use records review of enlisted artists, event surveys, post-discussions with artists/businesses, and observation of attendees to evaluate our anticipated outcomes. We will also use social media like Facebook event page RSVPs and Likes and Twitter engagement to monitor our success and estimate attendance.
