ACHF Arts Education
Supporting high-quality, age-appropriate arts education for residents of all ages to develop knowledge, skills, and understanding and appreciation of the arts is the primary goal for this activity. Students learn how they can see art and determine much about the culture, era, economic situation, as well as evaluating style, color, light and emotion. Outcome analysis will be based on the information from the participant surveys as well as anecdotal comments from the students. Data will be compiled and reported to document and evaluate results.
Comments were favorable at each grade level. Students enjoyed completing the art activities, which were then displayed in the hallways for parents and other students to see. Students wished there were more than 3 sessions for Art Adventures.
